To master the kick, you need to complete the following... Watch the video below.

Eyes are focussed on the ball throughout the kick.

Step forward with non-kicking foor placed near the ball.

Bend knee of kicking leg during the backswing for the kick.

Hip extension and knee flexion of at least 90 degrees during the backswing.
-
Contact the ball with the top of the foot.
-
Forward and sideward swing of arm opposite to kicking leg.
-
Kicking leg follows through towards the target after ball contact.
